Wow, you found my little hole in the wall…I mean home away from home on the web. I suppose you would like to know a little about who I am. Well here goes. Let me just dive right into the deep end…
Author. Hopeless romantic. Overall mess.
That sums me up in a nutshell. But, if you would like a little bit more info on yours truly, I was born in San Antonio, lived in the Southwest most of my life with a brief stint in Panama and California during my childhood. The majority of that time has been among the glitz and glam of Neon Lights known as Las Vegas, and have recently relocated to a small college town in Southern Utah.
I love baseball, have an obsession with the Boston Red Sox although I’ve never been to the East Coast, and I had a real ugly cry going when Big Papi retired.
I’m a Contemporary Romance author who loves the idea of small town romances, friends to lovers, and rekindled or second chance loves. My heroes can range from cowboys to musicians, soldiers to sheriffs, wannabe chefs or mechanics. My stories are usually fueled by my love of the water, country music, my childhood memories as a military brat, and my own deep love of creative pursuits including cooking, writing, and drawing. You will often find these elements present in the tales I weave in one form or another.
I am also a lover of urban fantasy. I indulge my imagination and ponder the ‘what if’s’ of mixing the realm of the paranormal and fantasy with the urban settings we know and love. Vampires? You betcha. The Fae? Without a doubt. Weres of all shapes and sizes? Absolutely. Witches, warlocks, druids, and all other mythical and mystical beings? YES! While I have a slight love affair with mythology (which is sure to make it’s appearance in my work), nothing is off limits when the fantastical creatures we know and love are merged with a world we are familiar with. You will be able to find my Urban Fantasy working listed under the name K.M. Corwin.
